Join Classic Reruns TV this Monday night as we honor the career of television pioneer Betty White. The 99 year old, who died December 31 just days before her 100th birthday, was a trailblazer for women in the TV industry. White enjoyed an eight decade career in television.
Classic Reruns TV will air eight episodes of two of her early shows – Life With Elizabeth and Date With the Angels.
The Betty White Tribute begins Monday, January 3 at 7P ET
7:00P – Life With Elizabeth – “Irritating Habits-Hanging Drapes-Bulldog Comes to Visit” Over breakfast Elizabeth and Alvin decide to share each other’s annoying habits. Later Elizabeth has trouble with curtains and Alvin makes things worse.
7:30P – Date With the Angels – “Return of the Wheel S2 E1 – Vickie’s destructive nephew Wheeler returns, having been sent to California to get over a girl.
8:00P – Life With Elizabeth – “Moosie in the Kitchen/Jungle in the Living Room/Underhills for Dinner” S1 E19 – Elizabeth need help from a man in fixing her husband’s dinner. Elizabeth decorates the house in a jungle theme to distract from a problem.
8:30P – Date With the Angels – “High Fever” S1 E3 – Vickie insists that Gus receive medical treatment when he comes down with a low-grade temperature, but the only doctor she is able to locate is a wisecracking obstetrician.
9:00P – Life With Elizabeth – “Scared Silly-Neighborhood Slingshot-Elmers Garage”S1 E2 – Elizabeth and Alvin read mystery books at night and every noise in the house scares them silly.
9:30P – Date With the Angels – “Pike’s Pique” S1 E12 – The Time: 6 months after Vickie and Gus are married. Vicki and Gus visit an amusement park and run into their neighbors. With misunderstandings and dogs aplenty.
10:00P – Life With Elizabeth – “Business Trip-Car Engine-Birdbath” S2 E9 – Elizabeth schemes with to go on Alvin’s business trip. After the car needs repair Alvin explains how the engine works to Elizabeth. Alvin’s friend Richard is tasked with delivering a birdbath.
10:30P – Date With Elizabeth – “Double Trouble” S2 E19 – The Angels stop in at a resort hotel, where without realizing it, there’s a lounge act with a singer that’s an exact lookalike for Vickie.
